These challenges and demands, in conjunction with the business and market environment and our company processes, inform the direction of our growth.

Above all, our company goal is sustained success, which we would like to achieve through the trust and satisfaction of our customers and partners in the community. We ensure the future of the company through the adaptability and continuous development of our management system. In doing this, we place high demands on ourselves for quality, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and occupational safety, and for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

It is for these reasons that HELUKABEL has established a binding integrated management system for quality, the environment, energy, and occupational safety according to the following standards:

Customers, Society, Interested Parties

The recognition of and compliance with the requirements and expectations of our customers and markets, as well as the state, society, and other interested parties, are key factors for the successful development of our company. This includes regulatory and legal requirements. These are continuously evaluated and checked for relevancy, and compliance is planned and monitored.

Leadership and Employees

Qualified leadership and employees that work cooperatively in a team, exhibit a high level of accountability and autonomy, as well as possess a strong awareness for costs, quality, environmental friendliness, energy, and occupational safety, are essential for the success of HELUKABEL.

Suppliers

We rely on select suppliers who meet our high standards in regard to quality, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and occupational safety, as well as who work well together with us as partners.

Quality

We fulfil the needs of our customers through reliable products that conform to requirements, timely deliveries, and exceptional service. Our quality goals are aligned with the principles of this policy. These are defined in all relevant business units and their attainment is monitored.

Environment

We are committed to minimising and avoiding environmental impacts, wherever they may be, especially in relation to air and water quality or unwanted emissions. Waste is reduced and sorted in order to allow for it to be recycled. We strive to use natural resources as sparingly as possible, and hazardous substances are only used where no better alternatives are available. Hazardous substances are handled with care. Additionally, we advocate that our suppliers avoid the use of hazardous substances. Our environmental goals are aligned with the principles of this policy. These are defined in all relevant business units and their attainment is monitored.

Energy

Continuously striving for increased energy efficiency and reduced energy usage is a critical prerequisite for the sustainability of further global growth. It is for this reason that we commit ourselves to constantly improving our energy management system and energy-related performance. To this end, we evaluate our energy use, consumption, and efficiency by looking for, evaluating, and prioritising avenues to improve these, and when it makes sense, implementing them. Our energy goals are aligned with the principles of this policy. These are defined in all relevant business units and their attainment is monitored.

Occupational Safety

The health and safety of our employees is just as important to us as our company's quality, environment, and energy policies. This also applies to temporary workers, interns, and employees of other companies that are temporarily employed at HELUKABEL. Prevention and continuous process improvement in regard to occupational safety and health protection can be economically implemented with our occupational safety system, which will also improve our competitiveness. It is our agreed goal to continuously improve safety and health at work (SGA Management System), as well through technical and organisational efforts, so that we:

  • can offer all employees health and safety-oriented work conditions that are suited to the company and the identified SGA risks;
  • eliminate dangers to avoid work-related injuries, illnesses, or accidents;
  • ensure the safety and health of third parties or external suppliers, as well as avoid any personal or property damages; and
  • comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.

We wish to achieve these goals and the continuous improvement of our SGA Management System together with our employees, which we include in many decisions through regular exchange.

Continuous Improvement

We are striving to continuously improve the quality of our products and services, our operational environmental protection, energy-related performance, and occupational safety. In doing so, we always seek out appropriate measures to optimise processes, the organisation, our work environment, and equipment according to current and future requirements.

We regularly evaluate and update the environmental and energy-related precautionary measures as required by regulatory bodies. The persons responsible for the implementation and realisation of these requirements at the company have been designated.

Our management handbook contains a summarised version of our integrated management system for quality, the environment, energy, and occupational safety. It refers to our documented provisions, which define the "procedural landscape" for all employees, contained in the integrated management system for quality, the environment, energy, and occupational safety.
