Bundling and fastening cables is central to the professional installation of electrical components. Loose cables and wires jeopardise not only operational safety but also make maintenance more difficult and increase the risk of sustaining damages. To prevent this, HELUKABEL has developed sophisticated cable bundling solutions.

What sets us apart—at a glance

  • Comprehensive product range: from standard cable ties to specialty solutions such as metal-detectable or halogen-free variations.
  • Customised safety: self-extinguishing and halogen-free designs to meet the strictest fire protection requirements for public and safety-critical areas.
  • Material for every application: stainless-steel cable ties for extreme temperatures and aggressive environments, polyamide for standard applications, hook-and-loop fasteners for flexible installations.
  • System solutions instead of individual products: well-thought-out, complete solutions consisting of cable tie mounts, cable sleeves, and plastic spiral wraps.
  • Cross-industry expertise: proven systems for mechanical engineering, building automation technology, railway technology, wind energy, and many other industrial sectors.

A wide range of products for effective cable management

HELUKABEL has a comprehensive portfolio of mounting materials for cables for you to choose from. Polyamide cable ties are a classic: robust, versatile, and economical. For extreme conditions, we suggest stainless-steel cable straps. They withstand high temperatures, aggressive media, and mechanical loads. Cable ties with steel pawls, or ratchets, are as flexible as plastic while being as sturdy as metal.

If your installations need to be flexible, or if they're regularly changed, we recommend hook-and-loop ties. They are reusable, saving on resources. Plastic spiral wraps (cable wraps) bundle multiple cables together into an orderly strand while simultaneously allowing for individual branching. Cable sleeves additionally protect against external influences. Cable tie mounts create stable installation points on flat surfaces or profiles.

Cable accessories with special characteristics

Many of our products fulfil special safety requirements: halogen-free designs do not develop dangerous gases in the case of fire. This makes them indispensable in public buildings, hospitals, or vehicles. Self-extinguishing and low-flammability variations actively inhibit the spread of fire. In food processing and pharmaceutics, detectable cable ties are used to avoid product contamination.

Industrial and infrastructure applications

Our fixing materials have proven themselves in mechanical engineering, the process industry, automation technology, shipbuilding, building automation technology, railway technology, wind energy, and lighting technology. HELUKABEL, as a systems supplier, supports you with the right solution for any challenge.

FAQ

Cable ties made of polyamide (PA) are the standard for industrial applications. They are sturdy, temperature resistant, and economical. For especially high mechanical or thermal loads, we recommend cable ties with steel pawls (ratchets) or stainless-steel cable ties.

Stainless-steel cable ties are used when temperatures exceed 85°C, aggressive chemicals are present, or extreme mechanical loads are expected. They are also the right choice for outdoor installations with strong UV radiation or in hygiene-critical environments such as in the food & beverage industry.

Yes, HELUKABEL offers halogen-free cable ties and mounting materials that do not release any caustic or poisonous gases in the case of fire. Additionally, we have self-extinguishing and low-flammability designs.

Cable tie mounts function on most flat surfaces such as metal, plastic, or varnished wood. For very rough or porous surfaces, we recommend additional mounting methods such as screws or special adhesive.
