Blood Drive at Hemmingen Location
HELUKABEL employees, together with the German Red Cross, take action for a good cause
At the end of May, HELUKABEL in Hemmingen sent a strong positive message with their social engagement. Together with the German Red Cross, an intragroup blood drive was held on location during working hours.
Approximately 40 employees took advantage of the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the local medical services with their donation. Along with the team from the German Red Cross, which supplied all of the technical equipment required for the blood drive, the HELUKABEL Youngsters, our trainees and students, helped ensure that the event went off without a hitch.
"We wanted to make sure that it was easy for our colleagues to participate and to make a difference, without having to invest additional time," explains Alisa Hoffmann, Specialist HR Marketing and organiser of the blood drive. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and just shows that HELUKABEL is really commitment to their community.
The drive was also well received by the participants. Our employee Timea says, "I think it's great that HELUKABEL made it possible for the drive to take place at the company. This way, we could donate during our working hours and do some good."
