Heat-Resistant Single Core with UL Approval and Metric Cross-Section

In many cases, extreme temperatures represent an extreme challenge for electrical connections in applications ranging from heating and air-con technology to specialty uses in mechanical and plant engineering. For these, HELUKABEL is launching its new HELUTHERM SINGLE CORE UL STYLE 3512. This new single core has a metric cross-section, and its silicone insulation makes it suited for use in temperatures up to 200°C, and its UL & CSA approvals open the door for use in many countries.

Thanks to its high temperature range, the HELUTHERM SINGLE CORE UL STYLE 3512 is suited for installation in electric heaters or for use in coating technology. This silicone single core approved for use in both flexible applications and permanent installations with temperatures up to 200°C. It has a nominal voltage of 600 V according to UL/CSA, 1,000 V according to VDE, and is both halogen free and flame retardant, which are major advantages for applications with strict fire safety requirements.

The HELUTHERM SINGLE CORE UL STYLE 3512 is available in cross-sections ranging from 0.5 to 240 mm². Its metric cross-section means users can stick to familiar calculations and components. And thanks to its UL approval, this new single core can be used in all countries where UL certifications are accepted. This greatly simplifies procurement and stocking for export-oriented customers. For individual identification, the cores are available in a number of different sheath colours.
