Cable assemblies—or cables with fitting plugs preinstalled—are produced at HELUKABEL's 10 production facilities around the globe. Sangel Systemtechnik GmbH has been part of the Group since 2022 and, with their recent name change to HELU Connectivity Solutions Bielefeld, is now fully integrated under the HELUKABEL brand umbrella. With this, the HELUKABEL Family is enriched with 30 years of experience and expertise with a high production depth and uncompromising quality in the field of industrial cable assemblies.
Two Locations for Maximal Flexibility

"Our large number of global assembly locations is a true advantage for our customers," explains Christian Gladis, Senior Project Manager Solutions at HELUKABEL. "Depending on the volume and delivery window, we are able to react flexibly with short transport routes or economical production at large quantities." This makes it possible for us to provide our customers with a high level of reliability and attractive prices, which are unique selling points that not every assembler can offer.
All assembled cables and wires are subjected to a complete quality inspection, including crimp force monitoring and documented testing processes. For markets such as the USA, a UL certification is also imperative and is a requirement that HELUKABEL fulfils at many of its locations. "The subject of UL is important for our customers, especially with regard to machine certifications in the USA," says Gladis.

With almost 30 years of experience in the business of cable assemblies, especially for drive systems, the company has a profound wealth of know-how at its disposal and a portfolio spanning from pre-assembled servo cables to solutions for highly complex applications. "There are many cable assembly suppliers, but, just like doctors, each specialises in their own areas," according to Gladis. "We see ourselves as specialists in individual and customer-specific applications—from consultation to production."
Alongside cable assemblies according to the standards of all current drive manufacturers, HELUKABEL also has a particular competency in realising custom cable assemblies according to the customer's needs. The company is not just a supplier, but a development partner. "When a mechanical engineer needs a special solution that can't be gotten off the shelf, we're who they turn to," ensures Christian Gladis.
