Child Care During the Summer Holidays
HELUKABEL supports its employees and their families with its HELUKids summer holidays programme, unifying careers and families
With summer comes summer holidays. For many families, this presents a challenge juggling both work and childcare. To help, HELUKABEL is offering its employees at our Hemmingen location again this year a much-needed helping hand: The in-house HELUKids summer childcare programme is taking place from the 11th of August to the 5th of September. This wonderful programme is designed for children ages 6 to 13. The programme is organised by specially trained colleagues in collaboration with the municipality of Hemmingen.
24 kids of HELUKABEL employees can take part in four weeks of fun, games, and community. From 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, there is a programme of diverse activities—from exciting excursions to the planetarium, the Porsche museum, or to a farm, to arts and crafts, sports, baking, putting on makeup, or even a first aid course. The physical well-being of the kids is also taken care of. They are taken care of throughout the day, including lunch in the employee restaurant.
The compatibility of career and family is very important for HELUKABEL. "With our summer childcare programme, we want to support our employees and show that family-friendliness is not just a catchphrase, but a real part of our company culture," says Katja Lägeler, Head of People and Culture.
